Mdina Map

The old capital city of Mdina was founded thousands of years ago on top of a hill on the east and north of Bingemma cliffs. The city is surrounded by two deep valleys called Wied l-Imdina tal-Hemsija and that of Saqqajja on one side, and with a Roman Wall and Wied Ghar Exrem on the other. The rest of the city is surrounded by a ditch and is cut off from the rest of the Rabat settlement.
